..."Where oh where, I wondered, are the greeting cards with pictures of people of color? Where are cards that show Black and White and Yellow and Brown friends together? So, after complaining a good deal about it, I finally did something! Over the years, my dad took hundreds of pictures of our extended family and friends and they are the basis of PruCheek.

Some photographs were in pretty bad shape but with new technology it's amazing what you can do. Dad is gone now but he's with me everyday. My mom, sister and I are as close as can be. (That's my mom on the Enter Page. That picture is several years old, but she's still quite fabulous. You'll find my sister on the "Crappy Day" card (going through the terrible twos).) I am blessed to have family and friends that I love and who love me. Everytime I work on a new card I re-live some wonderful memories. I hope these cards remind you of your family and all the people you love.
